NEED HELP IMMEDIATELY with Ski shops in Michigan?

Full question:

I'm planning on going to Boyne Highlands, to ski today, and I need to pick up some last minute equipment (Boots, and googles). I need to know if there is any store that is open (sells these things). In the Metro Detroit area, or on I-75 from Metro Detroit to Boyne Falls.

Best answer:

You may be able to rent at the area. This is so at most resorts. For any last minute purchase on Christmas Day I doubt you will find any shop open.

How long does it take to drive 230 miles?

Full question:

I want to drive from Kalamazoo, MI to Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls, MI. It's about 250 miles and I usually drive about 75 mph. Figuring that I will make zero stops and I will be driving in early January (accounting for road conditions), how long should it take to get there? Give a maximum time if possible.

Best answer:

On US-131 it will take less than 4 hours

How do I find my birth father?

Full question:

I was born 04/04/93 in MI. My mother only was with this guy once to my knowledge. His name is Larry and the only information I have about him is that he sold fireplaces in the Boyne Falls area, and the store he worked for went out of buisness.

Best answer:

It'll be a lot of legwork if you do it on your own. You might want to consider a private investigator, though you might need your mother's permission to do so since you're a minor. If you want to do it on your own, there are a few things you can try to get started. The easiest and cheapest thing to do would be to post something on Craigslist, but that might not be successful. Post asking for information on the company, employees, and Larry in particular in the Community section under Lost + Found and General. You may get a ton of helpful responses, or you might not get anything. Most of what you'll end up doing is calling or emailing people. You can't just call the whole phone book, so try finding names of people that have been in town a long time or who were associated with the store. Most local newspapers don't have online archives, but if you can get to a local library, they should have old papers on file. Look for ads in the paper for the store and see if there are any names listed as employees or managers, then find those names in the phone book and call them up. Most people are willing to answer a few questions as long as you don't ask anything too intrusive. You can also try looking through old yearbooks (sometimes on file in local libraries, you can call ahead to see if they have them) if you know about how old he is, that could get you some possibilities for a last name. Boyne Falls is a pretty darn small town, so there's a good chance that quite a few people in the area knew (or hopefully still know) your father. Cold calling people is pretty intimidating, but it might be your only option. You might not get any real answers right away, but hopefully you'll get a hold of people who might know better who you need to get in touch with to get the information you want. Good luck!

kara ann boyne miami dolphins?

Full question:

there's a cheerleader that i met for the miami dolphins. i met her at training camp months ago. she autographed a picture for me and when she did, she said my name like if she was horny. i fell in love immediately after the way she said my name. her name is kara ann boyne. i went to the dolphins vs. ravens game today and saw her again. i was in the sixth row so i said hi to her and she said it back but i don't think she remembered me from a long time ago. but i really feel like i have to be with her. i am at the point where if i don't have her i don't want know one else. can anyone please help me out on how to contact her? please i need to talk to her. i'm in love.

Best answer:

You aren't in love, you're horny. There's a big difference. A big clue to this is the fact that you think she said your name in a "horny" way and just like that you were in "love". Wishful thinking on your part I think. How can you love someone who you've just said hello to? I hope you're a teenager, cos then you can justify your behaviour. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but she was just being nice to a fan, so of course she wouldn't remember you. She probably talks to heaps of guys every day and you're just a face in the crowd. Look, you need to go get yourself a girlfriend, this message sounds like you're on the verge of becoming creepy stalker guy.

I would definitely be reading handle with care by Jodi Picult and The Choice by Nicholas Sparks, I've read them both before and they are both amazing. I found that they were interesting, the one by Jodi Picult sparked so many emotions inside myself, that I was laughing, crying and feeling suspense all at the same time, It took me a few chapters to really get into the book, but it was well worth it!
