This next season I'd really like to start in on the terrain parks, what's the best way to start? Best answer:Take a lesson in the park. They usually take you down one or two of the runs to assess your riding then they may get you to ride over one of the pole markers that mark the edge of the run (they lay it flat on the hill) to get you to imagine going over a box or rail and remembering to look at the end. When going over a box or a rail keep your knees flexed, push your feet out at the edges towards the tip for your front foot and the tail for your back foot. This will help you keep a flat base when you go over the boxes and rails. Look at the end of the feature that you are riding on and if you start to come off the edge to not try to correct yourself to stay on just ride off. Commit yourself to whatever feature you are riding and have fun. what are some good mountain biking places near boise?Full question:a lift service would be nice, but tamarack resort closed and brundage is 4 hours away. so besides the ridge to rivers system (foothills), what are some good places at most 2.5 hours away?
