Does anyone know how much it costs to eat out in Norway compared to England, namely Hemsedal?

Full question:

Best answer:

Well, Norway is more expensive than UK, and although I was at Hemsedal a week ago, I have to admit that we did not go out to eat, as we have a cabin in the mountains. The choice for eating out at Hemsedal is not as great as Oslo, but there is a Pepe's Pizza, and a Chinese, both of which I have used before now, and they were no more expensive than I might have expected, but sadly, I can't remember the numbers. A half litre of beer in a pub in Oslo, is about £5, but the cheapest half litre can of beer in a supermarket costs just 19kronor (about 11,50kronor to the £., I think. Mail me if you think that I can be of further help. Last week, we experienced a light fall of snow over 650m. the trees had lost all their leaves, but temperatures had not quite dropped to zero.
