I'm not from Montana but here in Minnesota, Petsmart does not carry saltwater fish. I bought most of our fish for our 72 gallon tank from Petco. We have only kept peaceful to semi-agressinve in the tank but they work well together. One's we have gotten that I abosolutely loved were Foxface's, lawnmower blenny, sailfin tang, all were very hardy. I currently have in my tank the blenny, a stripped squirrelfish, 3 black spotted cardinalfish, and 2 percula clowns. The cardinals are very nice fish. They like being noticed and will swim around when people are near the tank. A unique one that you might like are Pajama Cardinals. They have a very distinct and cool pattern you don't find in most fish. Good luck!

WOW the guy above me doesn't know what he is talking about. I live in Missoula. We have one SKI area here it is called Snowbowel. It is a great place as is Missoula. Missoula is nothing like portland, first obvious reason we are not on the ocean and the area and people are totally diffrent. It is a great place with tons of things to do. I have lived here all my life and I don't see how people could get board here. As far as the Saturday Market "THE FARMERS MARKET" I doubt that Missoulians have copied that from anyone because it is done in most towns in America all over. Montana is a great place and we do have lots of jobs the cost of living is normal. Well....it seemed to me as though there are alot more 'out of staters' that go to University of Montana. Californians, people from out east, etc. Laramie (University of Wyoming) had more people from the wyoming, montana, colorado area. There are ALOT of hippies in Missoula, and UWY had a lot more of the cowboy/FFA type. MIssoula is very pretty though, there is lots to do if you enjoy the outdoors, and it is a bigger city than laramie so more shopping and stuff like that. Laramie is kind of in the middle of nowhere and its not really a pretty area, however if you like to trap or fish there is plenty for that. I didn't go to either but I grew up in Montana, went to school in bozeman, mt, sheridan, wy, and riverton, wy, and had friends in both missoula and laramie, so I have been to the colleges frequently so my only advice is really social advice. I hear alot of people in laramie say that its boring, I haven't heard that from anyone in missoula. If I had to choose I would probably pick laramie. Good luck, you'll have fun wherever you go!

Its not a bad school. However, it depends on what you want to do. If you want to do education, engineering, or agriculture it is not as good as Montana State. For a liberal arts school it is probably the best in the state. My step mom went to UM and really liked it there.

I think its a pretty good university, probably better than Montana State. Montana as a whole has tons of wilderness with really no big cities. I was there for one football game as a fan of an opposing team. I remember it being a smaller city, no high rises or anything like that. In fact the nearest big city is probably 2 states away (Spokane, WA). It's a college town so life revolves pretty heavily around the university. Athletics, particularly football, are very important not only to the university and town but the entire state. Perhaps there's not much else to do, but the whole state goes on pause for Montana games... they have a very loyal and active alumni/fan base. At least on gameday there was an unusually high number of belligerent underage (and of age) drunks wandering around with the cops looking the other way as long as they had a UM fan shirt on. I don't know what the drinking scene is like any other day of the year. I'm guessing it's fairly liberal politically because when I was there it was election time and Obama signs were plastered everywhere.
