I have been home schooled all my life. I do have a few frends going to Nampa High this year in the same grade but a charter school has smaller class sizes.

I have worked at Nampa High was informed by some staff members some statistics you should consider. 1. On average every year begins with approximately 450 freshmen. 2. In four years only 250 will graduate as first year seniors. 3. Of those 250, only about 1/2 will attend college. 4. Of those 125 students, at best 1/2 of them will graduate college at all. While I do not have stats for all the charter schools, you can look them up and see how they do on their ISATS and ask them for their graduation rate and the stats on their college bound students. I do know that Nampa Classical Academy has openings and is college prep with very high standards of academics and behavior. While they have been in the news, look into them. Meet the Rhetoric teachers (9th-12 grades). Of course look into the other charter schools as well. They may or may not have openings for 9th grade. Regardless of what you decide, choose wisely.

Yes, it is a very nice place to live The best part would probably be on the outskirts of the city actually. Locust Lane is a nice road to live on, that is where I lived before we moved to Hawaii. But if you like shopping and whatnot, then downtown is not too bad, the Train Museum and family-owned businesses are all down there. If you live by Skyview High it is pretty nice too Nampa High not so much I don't know about Columbia High
