Turn out and knead in approximately 1 cup more of flour to make a noble dough. Knead 10 minutes. Put in greased bowl and let rise until double in bulk. Turn out and knead, make dough flat and divide into 3 equal parts (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inch pans). Put into pans and let rise. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Makes 3 loaves.

April showers bring... If Spring comes early, the snow melts too quickly, and the still frozen ground underneath can't absorb any of it, so it just runs off all at once. The river is still frozen up north, blocking the flow, which is slow anyway, so the water has no where to go except up. When the Red River starts flooding in January, you'll know global warming is for real.

I am going to Kentucky to climb the Red River gorge in the summer. I don't have much climbing experience but want to be ready for it! What's the best way I can prepare for it? I don't have access to a climbing gym.

Because you are a beginner, I don't want to discourage your enthusiasm. I do how ever want to caution you that rock climbing is a serious activity and requires knowledge along with commonsense. I'm hoping that you will be going with a group or other individuals who are verse in climbing safety and technique. In that case, I would just train for endurance and stamina by dieting, and exercising. It can also be quite hot in the Gorge in the summer times, so you need to understand what you need to do to prevent heat exhaustion. If your thinking you can go it alone, DON'T you will be putting yourself and others at risk. Google rock climbing guides in the RRG area and hook up for a few days with one. Telling him or her exactly what you want, and what your experience / abilities are.

Actually, the first poster is wrong. The Red River flows from south to north and drains into Lake Winnipeg. Once you get far enough north, rivers tend to do that. It's the path of least resistance. Flowing south would be like going uphill. And that is why Canada is worried. Because they haven't crested yet, and saw what happened in Fargo/Moorhead. The river also has more time to pick up additional water on it's way. Especially with the rain/sleet/snow we're getting today.

Shinobi Life-- Also going back in time :) This girl meets her lookalike's bodyguard, and they fall in love with each other... etc. Chrono Crusades-- One of the BEST manga I have ever read... They have slender leaves which can turn to avoid the sun ( I think many other eucalypts do the same thing too). They have a smooth bark and are found on river banks - even if the river is often dry. They grow rapidly and have a dense canopy which helps shield the ground and reduce evaporation. The formal name of this tree is "Eucalyptus camaldulensis" which may help you do a more comprehensive search on google or similar. I hope this helps a little
