How Close is Santa Fe Community College to Universtiy of Flordia?

Full question:

I plan on going to UF to become a phsycologist and my bf is planning on Santa Fe to become a police officer and if anyone has any tips or info on becoming a phsycologist that would be greatly appreciated

Best answer:

I think pretty close. I remember seeing signs for Santa fe community college when I visited UF. Its not far.

What is the widest tyre size for 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Full question:

I am planning on getting 18" rims and would like to get wider tyres. What is the widest tyre size that can be placed on the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe without affecting the speed or transmission.

Best answer:

235 is stock so, 245 is the widest you'll want to go I think. The 1st poster is wrong, this won't damage your transmission/brakes/engine or whatever. The important thing is to make sure the overall diameter of the tire is the same as stock or it will throw off your speed and mileage readings by a couple %. check out http://www.tirerack.com As you will see, the Limited Santa Fe came with 18's, I'm not sure if you have the GLS that came with 16's, so obviously the Santa Fe can handle larger rims straight from the factory even. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compare1.jsp?loadRank=2&width=245%2F&ratio=60&diameter=18&vehicleSearch=true&startIndex=0&search=true&pagelen=20&pagenum=1&pagemark=1&performance=SSTAS&performance=HAS&speed_rating=S&speed_rating=T&speed_rating=U&speed_rating=H&speed_rating=V&speed_rating=Z&speed_rating=W&speed_rating=Y&speed_rating=%28Y%29&RunFlat=All&x=51&y=7

Is a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited a good first car for a teenage boy?

Full question:

My lease is up on my car soon and I have been looking for cars for the past week. I have looked at the Mercury Mariner, Nissan Rogue, Mazda CX-7, and the Hyundai Santa Fe. My son will be getting his license in a few months and I don't know what car would be best for him to drive.

Best answer:

Some would say too good. My first car at 16 was 10 years old and had 130K miles on it.

How can I tell if my 2004 hyundai santa fe key has a chip in it?

Full question:

I recently bought a 04 hyundai santa fe and it only had one key. I need a spare but don't know where to get one, and I don't know if the key I have has a computer chip in it. It looks like my old toyota key and it didn't have a chip in it. So how can I tell without having to visit hyundai dealership?

Best answer:

None of the Santa Fe keys have chips in them. My opinion is biased, but a Hyundai dealership is truly the best place to get a key cut. If you choose the dealer, it is best to bring in the key you have, along with the VIN of your vehicle. That way, if the key is too worn for an accurate trace, the dealer can get its code from Hyundai and program it in for a perfect cut (non dealers usually trace-cut). Some dealers may also request you bring in proof of ownership (the title) and your driver's license for identification.

where can i find pictures of the interior of a 1962 santa fe travel trailer?

Full question:

We just bought a 1962 Santa Fe travel trailer. There was a lot of things changed around and added on. It needs A LOT of work and I am having a hard time finding photos of what the original interior looks like. Any ideas? The trailer itself is 10 ft long.

Best answer:

I could only find the one pic below. Hope it helps out some. Good luck restoring it.

I recently purchased a Hyundai Santa Fe and was wondering how the alarm system worked?

Full question:

I bought a 2009 Hyundai SANTA FE 2.7 GL FWD and it says it includes keyless entry/ Security Alarm System. I was wondering how to set it and how it works?

Best answer:

It's a fairly simple system. It arms when you lock with the remote keyless entry fob or when using the power lock switch and closing the door. It monitors all doors and the hood and if one of those switches is interrupted, it sounds the alarm and flashes the lights for 30 seconds.

Where in Santa Fe is a good place to have hair styled?

Full question:

I'm looking for a good place in Santa Fe, New Mexico, to have my hair styled for a special occasion (just styled, not colored or cut.) Any suggestions?

Best answer:

Try Rock-Paper-Scissor. I have curly hair and they did a great job.

Can the Santa Fe cigars that have filters be inhaled like cigarettes?

Full question:

A friend offered me a Santa Fe cigar that has a filter and I inhaled like he did. It didn't make my head spin and actually tasted a whole lot lighter than the cigarettes that I smoke. My friend started buying and smoking Santa Fe because of the price. $2.50 vs. $6.85.

Best answer:

From what I gather, they're not that much different to cigarettes in terms of health (given they have a filter) and are a lot more pure than packet cigarettes, seeing as they are cigarettes. So it's probably alright to smoke them as usual! Look at it this way - if they aren't supposed to be inhaled like a cigarette, then why would they put filters on them?

What is the best restraunt to eat at in Santa Fe, New Mexico?

Full question:

We have a cousin living in Santa Fe, NM. I am looking for a good steak house restraunt to purchase a gift certificate as a Christmas gift.

Best answer:

One of the best restaurants in Santa Fe is "Geronimo" - They serve the best Elk there - its just like beef only more tender. I'm sure they have steaks as well. It is truly a beautiful dining experience. Its located on Canyon Road right in the middle of the art gallery district . Don't you dare go to an Outback when you are in Santa Fe - There probably isn't one there anyway!!! Their website is www.geronimorestaurant.com Another great restaurant is the Inn of the Anasazi.

What are the differences between the Santa Fe and Tuscan SUVs?

Full question:

Want to look at SUVs, and Hyundia's Santa Fe and Tuscan are at the top of my list. They are very similar. What are the differences?

Best answer:

Size: Santa Fe > Tucson Price: Santa Fe = Tucson + $4,000 Engine: Santa Fe can have a V6 engine, Tucson no longer can (older models had V6). MPG: Santa Fe is about 22/28, Tucson is about 25/32 Tucson also recently went through a model-redesign in 2010, so it's "brand spankin' new" the santa Fe model has been out since either 2006 or 2005. It's due for a model redesign soon, so what I'm saying is the Tucson will probably have more creature comforts until the refreshed Santa Fe comes out in the near future. Both Hyundais, both reasonable vehicles, both good warranties, both small/medium SUVs, both can have AWD... drive each one, see which you like.

How much do you think it cost to drive from Santa Fe to Seattle?

Full question:

I need to drive from Santa Fe, NM to Seattle. I will be driving either a 96VW Beetle, or a 96 Dodge Dakota Quad cab. Both vehicles are in excellent mechanical condition. Going to pick up my son for the summer.

Best answer:

1534 miles each way, 3068 miles total, divided by the miles per gal of the vehicle driven yielding gallons of fuel used. If the vehicle gets 30 MPG highway, 3068 / 30 = 103 gals. Now times the cost of fuel maybe 3.50 per gal. so, 103 x 3.50 costs $360.50 in fuel. Food cost, depends...Plus lodging unless you are sleeping in your car. Flying him might be cheaper?

How can i remove the seat in my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Full question:

I own a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. Our new puppy peed in the front passenger seat, and we can't get the smell to go away. We tried various cleaning solutions, but we can't keep the windows open due to continuous rain fall. Is there a way to remove the seat temporarily so we can clean it, and set in on our porch to let it air out?

Best answer:

Bolts thru the floor at the four corners of the seat.Slide it all the way forward and remove the two in the rear then slide it back and take the two out of the front. If they are power you will need to rock it back and unplug the wires.IMPORTANT if you have side impact airbags housed in the seat itself you need to disconnect the battery before unplugging the wiring and again when you reinstall the seat.Any air bag plugs will be bright yellow in case you don't know if you have them or not.The next thing is actually getting it OUT of the car.Usually easiest to lay the seat on it's side and pull the bottom side thru the door first, definitely a two person job. Good Luck

Full question:

I have a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe and I don't know how to save my favorite radio stations? Does anyone know? Thanks you?

Without sounding nasty, have you considered reading the cars owners manual? That's what it's there for. If you don't have it then usually when you tune into a radio station and press and hold a preset button until it beeps or the sound returns will preset a station.

Can you diagnose a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe Check Engine light without a scanner?

Full question:

I used to own a 1994 Honda Civic. When the check engine light came on, I could insert a jumper into the scanner plug and the Check Engine light would flash in a series of dots and dashes that I could then identify the diagnostic code. It was a poor man's scanner, if you will. I now drive a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe. Is there a similar means to extract the Check Engine diagnostics without having to buy a scanner?

Best answer:

Nope. Anything built after 1996 is set up with an OBDII diagnostic system, and they wont "flash" codes. You can get your codes pull for free at your local AutoZone or O'Reillly's, but without a scan tool that shows live data you'll still be just pretty much guessing at which part to change. AutoZone will try to tell you which part you need, but they don't know crap about crap, and they're just trying to sell you a part you may or may net need. Pulling codes and swapping parts usually just ends up a waste of money and by the time you're done you usually could have paid a shop to do the diagnostics for you.

What size of speakers fit in a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Full question:

I wanted to know what size of speakers to buy for my 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS V6. Please specify sizes for the front and for the back. Thank you!

Well, you've got different sizes in the front and back and maybe even 3-4 sizes total if you have a premium soundsystem from the factory. For reference purposes go to http://www.crutchfield.com and you can find out what speakers etc you can use and compare models.

Full question:

Oh, and the trip will be in early/mid June, if any of your suggestions are dependent on the time of year.

How much does it cost to have front bumper repainted on a Hyundai Santa Fe?

Full question:

I got in a little fender bender with my new Santa Fe...need to have the front bumper panel repainted. At first it was just scraped, but after going to the car wash this morning, it is now missing a large amount of paint. I have no idea what something like this would cost...any info greatly appreciated as I need to figure out if I should file with my insurance or pay for it myself out of pocket...Thanks in advance for your answers!

Best answer:

If you have it repainted, there will be no guarantee that the paint will not peal, but most likely will not. To do the job right expect 5 to 600 dollars.

Mexican recipe book similar to food at Santa Fe's Mariscos La Playa?

Full question:

My husband and I recently went down to Santa Fe where we had dinner at a yummy Mexican seafood restaurant called Mariscos La Playa. Unlike the Mexican food I've had here it was really light tasting - no salsa in their rice, not a lot of cheese. It was more spice-based than sauce-based. We had fish tacos, steak tacos, and a delicious creamy guacamole dip. Can anybody recommend a recipe book similar to the type of food served in this restaurant?

Best answer:

yes- go onto amazon and look up books from "the coyote cafe" . Sounds very similar!

Can I install a performance chip in my 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe?

Full question:

Well I have been looking around and some websites "say" there are chips for the hyundai santa fe, but I looked at the ones for mustangs and bmw's and its the same picture. I don't wanna get ripped off ya know? Does anyone know?

Best answer:

No such product exists that works, those items you see on ebay and even a few auto stores will not work and may actually damage your vehicle. If a $20-50 part could increase horsepower and fuel economy....every car would come standard with it or at least every car owner would buy one and be willing to pay more then that even. I'm not sure what performance parts they make for the Santa Fe other then exhaust/intake that would increase the power/speed.

Can a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited pull a two horse trailer?

Full question:

Hi! I have a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited and I was wondering if it could pull a two horse trailer and any adjustments needed to be made. Thank you!

Best answer:

It could probably pull an empty 2-horse trailer without any problems, but once you fill it with 2 horses and supplies you are going to damage your truck. The Santa Fe was not designed for heavy duty pulling and it is not safe to pull so much weight for your engine, transmission or brakes. I suggest buying a used full size pickup so that you don't ruin your nice Santa Fe Limited. A large SUV like the Toyota Landcruiser or Ford Expedition could handle the job, but they are very expensive.
