Best answer:Easiest jobs to get are in the hotels; room cleaners are the most in demand job posting at any resort followed by bar and restaurant waite staff, lift operations(chair holders) and hill maintenance(groomers and blowers) are next and earn a decent wage, ski instructors are usually the lowest paid employees because it's an easy position for them to fill. Working at the resort has ups and downs. You get free skiing but are working when the hill is open so don't get to ski all that much. Your in the middle of all the action but don't earn enough to take part in that action, see what I mean. I dated a girl while in Japan who had a lucrative baby-sitting business going. She skied every morning then took care of kids in the afternoon and evening so that mommy and daddy could enjoy their vacation. You'ld be surprised at how much people will pay to get away from their kids. Best answer:#1 forget the adjudication thing that your first answer mentioned. It really does nothing for you..... it sounds good but if you look into it it will be of no help in the long run and will only serve to piss the judge off. The charge may be dropped in a way but for the purposes of insurance and employer background checks the offense still stands just as if you had been straight out convicted. First of all the habit of inching up thing.... quit it! The laws says a FULL stop. What happened was maybe tha the cop saw the Uturn and didn't like the way you took it. The abrupt stop would beg the question as to why you were going so fast to need to do this. Then add in your brake lights going on and off made it look like you were in a big hurry. The officers perception was that that you were closer to the SUV than you think? Was there any vehicles behind the SUV and how fast did you pull out? But it could be argued. I too inch up a bit sometimes just to get a better line of sight and to be absolutely sure that all is clear. It was 5:30 in the morning right? So how light out was it so how can the officer be sure? Sounds like you were driving a company vehicle. Honestly it would be well worth you getting a lawyer. You know that your license could be suspended. You do realize that if convicted you will be paying extra money on insurance for quite some time? Your companies insurance could be effected. Odds are slim but your company might be forced to drop you so theirs does not go up. If you switch jobs it will show on your record and this could be a serious issue for you. If you happen to get another (it happens even if careful) it will be considered a second and then you really have issues. So probably best to spend the money now than pay much more later. The lawyer might get it dropped by casting doubt. Or make a deal so that you plead guilty to some lesser or no big deal charge like "improper turn" or something. You have witnesses and she has to admit this in court. So she has some sort of bias toward your companies vehicles? That little nugget will go a long way. Your end is your livelyhood would be destroyed. So speak to the company as well. He could also explain to the prosecution that he will have you out on appeal in 15 minutes. That means the state/county has to spend way more money on this and they have to justify expenses. Better to let you go and spend money on those clearly guilty. Best answer:You mention not too far from Denver, so I assume you may be planning on working or going to school in the Denver Metro area. That will rule out Silverthorne since it is well into the mountains on the West side of the Eisenhauer Tunnel; which means it is a LONG commute (over an hour in good weather) to Denver. Evergreen is probably much more realistic and is a beautiful little Mountain Town about 40 minutes to the West of Denver. Apartments are rare up there and homes can be pretty expensive to rent and many are probably much larger than what you want, or so old and run down you do not want to rent them. It is an upscale expensive area to live in! (I have lived there for 25 years and know this first hand.) Most of the Townhouses to rent go pretty quickly (and there are definitely more of those than Apartments), but again, compared to areas closer to Denver are much more expensive. The other issue to consider about any of the towns in the Moutains is WINTER and SNOW. They get much more snow, and winter can be long up there since they can get snow as early as late August, and it is not uncommon to see snow into early June. However, there are many nice communities much nearer to Denver, near to the Mountains, but not in the mountains, and that have plenty of Apartments that are reasonably priced. You also have less problem dealing with driving in the winter and all the snow (it does snow, just not as much). I would look at places like Golden, Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada, & Westminster. All of those are great places to live with affortable apartments that are nice. As for cost, it really can vary a lot for 2 bedroom apartments. I would estimate as little as $550.00 a month for the not very big ones to over $1200.00 a month for larger ones with a lot more ammenities. If you write to the Denver Chamber of Commerce and tell them you are relocating, they will send you an apartment guide if you ask for it. Also you could try just googling Apartments in each of those cities and I'm sure it would get you to some of the ones that are renting presently. Good Luck with the move. Powered by Yahoo!
