Been there 2 years in a row. Gotta agree with the professional reviews: Best groomed snow in the country. No boards to chop it up. That means that if you're a moderate intermediate, you'll find yourself skiing like an "expert". Spring skiing there is especially great. 20's and 30 degree temps on the mountain, and 40's on the streets. No new snow isn't a problem, cause they groom everything to perfection. Also, while there, a day at each of Park City and the Canyons should be on your vacation agenda. They are only 10 to 20 minutes away.

Is there snow (enough to ski) in Hidden Valley in 3rd week of March?

Yeah there should be plenty of snow with the very cold temps in the forcast I'm sure snow guns will be running nonstop, another resort in teh area i would recomend is 7 springs.

How do you get under map in combat arms snow valley?

I've seen videos of people getting under the map in snow valley in combat arms how do you do that? i think it has something to do with the ledge near the tunnel u cant go into

What you do is find the cameras near buildings and stuff and if there is a red light flashing, then find a door near the camera. once you find a door, walk up to it and press E because E is the action button. to help you find the 3 doors, go to the main structure, you know the big place in the middle of the map, and find the TWO BIG HOLES in the ground where missles would pop up from in real life. in one hole is a ladder but dont go all the way down. instead go about three fourths of the way down, turn around, and jump forward. your in. OR try the OTHER HOLE and jump in to it and land on the ledge on the side. its a big ledge and you cant miss it. if you do, you most likely will die. if you dont you will lose atleast 20HP. hope this helped. add me to your friends and if your on ill make a map for just the two of us and i will show you the way to all the doors. my name in the game is JPWKYA add me and message me telling me that your from yahoo answers so i know its you. good luck and kill those bastards

How can I go to Blue Mountain or Snow Valley?

I live in Brazil and I´m visiting Toronto for just 4 days. I would love to go ski in one of these two places, but I don´t have a car. How can I go? By bus, taxi. Would it be better if I rented a car? And a friend of mine don´t have any clothes to ski? Is there a nice place to rent it?

Definitely don't go by taxi. It's a 2 hour drive to get to Collingwood and a taxi will be very expensive. There are buses that stop at a couple of subway stations and they take you to some of the ski areas. It's been a few years since I last took a bus but at that time, they went to Mount St. Louis/Moonstone and Horseshoe Valley. If there are a few of you going, renting a minivan could be cheaper compared to each of you buying a bus ticket. While you can rent ski equipment, no place I'm aware of rents out clothing.

I'm not sure where but my teammates said that camp was extremely physical but maybe just cause they're a bunch of cry babies. They said they played no foul basketball which is I guess you can do anything you want. Sounds kinda fun to me, i might go check it out. Holiday Valley is a GREAT place to go snowboarding! I've been there plenty of times. A vast majority of the slopes are open and we did just get a snowstorm out in the western part of NY (I live out that way), although I'm not sure if Holiday Valley got a ton of snow. Plus, it's forecasted to snow the next few days! Regardless, it is probably going to be some of the better conditions in the area. If you've never been, I'm sure you'll have a great time! There are plenty of different slopes for all kinds of abilities!

Is there a reason for Moonachie, NJ getting more snow than Willamette Valley Oregon?

Your area has better access to the needed colder air which comes in from Canada. The Rocky mountains tend to act as a block to the colder air, limiting how much makes it to Oregon. The air mass over Oregon is predominantly from the Pacific Ocean which is not as cold as you sometimes get from inland Canada.

There was supposedly a brief dusting of snow in early October but although they kept predicting it, nothing happened while I was there. I know they finally had snow in the village in late October and on the mountains starting in September.

Well, I live in Smithfield Ohio which is near Steubenville. If you don't know where that is, we're about 20 miles north of Wheeling. The fact is, it changes every year. Usually the snow will start around late November. We'll start by getting an occasional dusting. Once we get into later December, we have bursts of heavy snow. It will stay that way for about a week, then the temperature shoots up to 50. All the snow melts, then we freeze over again. January and February are the worst, they get really cold. Sometimes snow comes and sometimes it doesn't. Don't pay attention to News 9, they can't predict the weather.

It has happened before back in the 80's, I beleive. The snow level was supposed to drop to 1500 ft. sea level, which means that Santa Clarita could see snow. If we should drop to freezing level, we just may see a littl snow, but it won't hang around long due to in California and especially the San Fernando Valley, the sun pops out after the storm and melts it away before you know it. Watch our hills and mountains around us. Surely there will be snow there for you to look at. When I went to bed last night ( I live in Chatsworth/Northridge area), the temp was 48 degrees, so unless it dropped down to the freezing level, we won't have snow here in the valley..darn it. I'd like to see it happen again like it did back in the early 80's.

Snowboard in Snow Valley, California?

Has anybody ever been to Snow Valley in California (close to Big Bear Lake) for snowboarding? I'm thinking about taking my husband for snowboarding for his birthday in March and I'm debating if I should take him to Big Bear (or Summit) or Snow Valley. It's a surprise so I can't ask him which one he wants to go. Also I'm not going to snowboard because I'm pregnant so I want to know what I can do there or where I can go to spend my time alone while he's enjoying snowboarding... Go to big bear. Snow Valley is a great place to learn but there is not a lot of runs for the seasoned rider. Secondly the town of Big Bear has tons of things for you to do while he is off riding. Snow Valley has nothing. Better town, More to do. Check out Bear.
