I want to know a nice hotel I can stay at for two nights with nice rooms but fairly cheap. I am going skiing there so it should be fairly close. I am also looking for a cheap place to get good food, even if it is a bit of a drive. We are making a skiing trip up there. Also, Anyone have any suggestions to beat crowds or duggestions in general. THANKS!!!!

This place is a real find and the rooms are really nice. http://www.bigbear-goldmine-lodge.com/about.html Jim and Paula are the owners and are from Utah. The rooms have all been refurbished and the interior design is different in each room and they are all very cozy feeling. The rates depend on the room and also on the day of the week. (weekends vs weekdays). They have a rate during the week including a discounted lift ticket for Snow Summit, so best to just call and talk to them. You can see all the rooms on the web site. It's close to the main part of town..lots of restaurants and they have all that info in the office. (menus, etc.) They are very helpful and are wonderful hosts. What are your pokemon? I can't answer if you don't say, and what moves they know. Personally, I'm Charmander and I used smokescreen to give it whiffer status; its moves won't hit. I also used scary face so its movement speed fell. Then I used blast seeds, reviver seeds, sleep seeds, quick seeds, and stun seeds. Also configure your partners' moveset(s) for maxinum damage, and, if beneficial, keep it from using its normal attack. Good luck!

Since it still is winter, the summits of our Rockies can be bitterly cold , well into the minus20C's, colder with the wind chill but it can also be a beautiful sunny day anywhere near or above 0C as well. I've been in both places that time of year in very differing weather. Enjoy the chalets and ski lodges when it is too nasty is all. Great area and the Okanagan "Big White Resort" near Kelowna is only a 5-6 hour drive away. Have a great stay.

I think they're both pretty hard! The entourage's are a louder color scheme obviously and are more of an eye catcher, but I think I like the look of the Hornet's better. That 3M strip down the center set's them off as well. Really nice colorway. I'd go with the Hornet's. Both are raw tho!

You can drive north from Palmer. Take the Glenn Highway to the Richardson Highway and head north. Make sure that you are prepared for snowy roads and cold weather. You will be standing around in the snow. Bring sunglasses and your camera and some food. There probably aren't any places to stay. They get booked up before now. Many people bring motor homes. Call Anchorage snowmobile dealerships for inside information. They may know a short-cut for driving, or have other suggestions for you.

None of the large navy ships could make it up the St Lawrence Seaway from the ocean. The biggest ships that would fit would be a Knox or Perry class frigate. The Navy and the Coast Guard do have a number of patrol boats and cutters that could make it and it is possible one of these is on hand for training at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, just north of Chicago, or for the NATO Summit as you say. The biggest limiting factor is the draft, which is only 27 feet between Montreal and Lake Erie. Any ship which draws more than 27 feet would run aground, which includes almost all US Warships and subs. On the Upper Great Lakes between Buffalo and Chicago (or Duluth), the locks are bigger and larger boats can sail on the Lakes that can't get through to the Ocean (and vice versa) though the draft is still only about 28 feet. Since we don't maintain a combat presence in the Lakes, only the relatively small coast guard and navy cutters and below can be on the Lakes.

My story is set in dillon, colorado but obviously nj and colo are different. especially because of stereotypes. for instance, people think we fist pump and party for fun but i live on the coast and we surf, but thats not just it. most of us hang out at specific places and such. now heres where i need your help... I have been to summit county twice, mostly keystone and dillon though. ive been to the outlets and everything. so where do teens mostly hang and what do they do? for instance what are the best restaurants where most teens go? what do they do in the summer? can they swim in the lakes, if so which? where do teen couples go and what do they do? what are the personalities like? what phrases are popular, like in west coast its "hella" cool where east coast its "mad" cool. so what are the common slang and stuff there? pleas be specific. just share what you know about teens in summit county.

Not exactly a teen anymore, but I can help with a little, here. Kids here ski. Lots. Those who don't participate in other sports: Hockey, Ice Skating, soccer, biking, hiking are popular. Skateboarding. There are a couple of Skateboard parks. Check out the Adventure park in Frisco. Disc golf is popular, but I think that's mostly an older crowd. Outlets - like any mall, is a popular enough spot for just hanging. Coffee shops are big. Unfortunately, the Borders, where I know a bunch of kids hang some of the time, is closing. There are Starbucks' all over, Clint's cookies in Breckenridge, and Greta's cookies across the street. Summit Coffee Roasters and Abby's in Frisco. Blue Moon Bakery and Seattle's Best coffee in Silverthorne. Restaurants? Fast food, I'm sure, we have most of the chains, though placement is limited and regulated. NO. there is no swimming in the lakes! It's against the law, and even if it weren't, it's massively dangerous! That water is about 34 degrees at the warmest! It's Glacial meltoff at the source! There are free concerts on Saturdays, and a lot of kids go to them with their parents, then go hang out with their friends while the parents watch the "old farts" concerts. Of course, there are always a bunch of teens at the movie theater. It's got, like, 8 screens, so, you know, always playing something the kids want to see. Slang? I think hella is bigger here...Snowboarding/skiing slang...similar, in the old days, anyway, to surfing slang. I'm not sure about that one for you...

Beginner bass tournaments near East Central Indiana?

If your new to Tourney fishing, your best way to learn would be to join a local Bass club in your area. Most Clubs will take anyone who is interested in Bass fishing and willing to pay the yearly club fee, (usually the club fee is under $50-$100), and the Tourney fees. You will gain experience (priceless knowledge) AND learn your local lakes if you go this route. Here is a club you could join. They take non-boaters- http://central-indiana-bassmasters.com/3.html However, if you decide to just "go for it" and sign up for a local Tourney anyway, (without any prior Tourney experience) you will lose, (period). Understand, there are people who have dedicated their LIVES to Bass fishing, have spent $1000's on tackle, boats, outfits and know the local lakes like the back of their hand. When you sign up for a tourney THOSE are the kind of people you will be competing against........ Bottomline- If you decide to enter an expensive tournament, without prior tournament experience, your throwing your entry fee money away...... Joining a local Bass club is more fun AND "cheaper"! (lol) Hope this helps ya? PS- I'm not trying to intimidate or discourage you I'm trying to give you the best advice I can. UPDATE: Unmamfql- How do you "call" a lake? (teasin ya!) Not every Lake has a local bait & tackle or resident resort you can call to get reliable info on Bass fishing. And if they DO have a B & T or resort on any given lake, most likely they will already have alliance's with other T-fisherman to only give "basic info" to a complete stranger. (Not to mention, in many cases, local B & T stores will have much more info on other species of fish, (Crappie, Bluegill, Catfish, Etc), than Bass because they sell more bait to those type customers.) Basic info will only get you "general results". Pre-fishing is the only way to gain concrete knowledge for a Tourney...... And pre-fishing requires a boat and knowledge on how to establish a "pattern". 'Course you could learn all kinds of " local hot-spots" when you join your local Bass Club. As a non-boater you are teamed with a boater. Nine times out of ten the boater will already know the lake you are fishing and have knowledge of the pattern you need to be fishing to place or win. Anywho- Not trying to pick a fight Unmamfql! I just know T Bass fishing quite well and saw some holes in your argument. Unmam is actually correct- You COULD enter a T and smoke the doors off everyone! However, the "odds" of you doing this are slim to none. Thumbs up Unmam!
