Anzère Ski Accommodation Overview

Built of the sit of ancient pastures, the village of Anzère faces due south. Perched on a plateau, in the heart of the swiss Alps, the village enjoys a mediterranean microclimate. In the region, one can find primitive rural structures and altitude pasture dwellings, made of wood and stone. The pedestians only Village Square is the centre of village life. During the winter, once a week, hot wine prepared in a large kettle, a welcome drink for all visitors. It is a good opportunity to socialise and get to know others.

In winter, snowfall is abundant in ANZERE, first snow comes in December. Temperature oscillates between
–10 degrees C to +25 degrees C. The weather is milder than down the valley and the resort is usually above the winter fog.

Anzère has a capacity of over 8000 beds to accommodate holidaymakers. About 3000 beds are managed
and rented out by real estate agencies. Apartments are of top quality come with excellent services. There are
also a vast choice of hotels, guesthouses, as well as boarding houses for groups (dormitories, holiday
camps, and large chalets).
