Overview

Beaver Creek is a world standard ski resort. Each year it hosts the Birds of Prey Men's World Cup.

Beaver Creek offers a great variety of ski trails and has a reputation for its extensive grooming. According to Beaver Creek's web site, it offers 776 groomed acres a day or a total of 106,000 acres per season of pure corduroy.

Beaver Creek is 100% powered by wind, and recycles 1.4 million pounds of material every year. Even our trail maps are made with recycled paper.

Beaver Creek has a large vertical rise (3,343ft). As a guide, skiers will generally not be skiing top to bottom all day as the range is too great. Skiers would typically stop a number of times when skiing top to bottom and only the fittest skiers would be able to ski top to bottom without stopping. Beaver Creek has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With an amazing 149 trails, make sure you get hold of a trail map before you set out.
