Overview
Cypress Mountain is located 12 km (7.5 miles) off of the Trans Canada Highway #1 in West Vancouver. It is a 26 minute drive from downtown Vancouver via the Lions Gate Bridge and Taylor Way. Night skiing, snowboarding, extensive cross-country ski trails, a day lodge, ski school, ski shop and rentals, restaurants and pubs are just some of the hill's attractions.
Cypress Mountain has a quite a good vertical rise (1,713ft). As a guide, skiers will typically stop 3 or 4 times when skiing top to bottom. Cypress Mountain has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With 38 trails, most skiers would be happy to spend a week or so exploring the terrain at Cypress Mountain.
