(3.74 moos out of 5) Overview
The Andorran ski resort of Encamp is part of the Grandvalira Ski Area with access to 173 individual pistes. In addition to the skiing in Encamp itself (63 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Grandvalira ski resorts of Canillo, Pas de la Casa / Grau Roig and Soldeu el Tarter. Encamp is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Pas de la Casa / Grau Roig. The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season. Encamp has a quite a good vertical rise (1,837ft). As a guide, skiers will typically stop 3 or 4 times when skiing top to bottom. Encamp has mostly beginner and intermediate runs so advanced and expert skiers may become a littled bored if they are feeling like a challenge. With 63 trails, it will take quite some time to explore the entire ski area. Note: Encamp is part of the composite ski area Grandvalira. Note: This page only contains ski area information.
