RatingSkicow has calculated a great rating of 3.8 out of 5 for the Happo-One ski area. This is based on several criteria such as the size of the ski area and the services provided. Note that we do not have all the required data, such as the total trail length, which is necessary for a comprehensive rating calculation and consequently the calculation will be slightly inaccurate.
(3.8 moos out of 5) Overview
Happo One , HAKUBA is one of Japan’s top ski and snowboard resorts. Relatively undiscovered by the western travel markets it has an excellent record of deep dry powder snow offering some of Japan’s best terrain. Happo-One has a large vertical rise (3,514ft). As a guide, skiers will generally not be skiing top to bottom all day as the range is too great. Skiers would typically stop a number of times when skiing top to bottom and only the fittest skiers would be able to ski top to bottom without stopping. Happo-One has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With only 13 trails, you will probably become familiar with the whole ski area quite quickly. Note: Happo-One is part of the composite ski area Hakuba. For further information, visit the Happo-One web site.
