(3.86 moos out of 5) OverviewKicking Horse Mountain Resort is a new ski village located 14 km outside of Golden, BC. Kicking Horse has a large vertical rise (4,131ft). As a guide, skiers will generally not be skiing top to bottom all day as the range is too great. Skiers would typically stop a number of times when skiing top to bottom and only the fittest skiers would be able to ski top to bottom without stopping. Kicking Horse has a good range of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. With an amazing 106 trails, make sure you get hold of a trail map before you set out.
