RatingSkicow has calculated a great rating of 3.5 out of 5 for the La Massana ski area. This is based on several criteria such as the size of the ski area and the services provided. Note that we do not have all the required data, such as the uphill capacity, which is necessary for a comprehensive rating calculation and consequently the calculation will be slightly inaccurate.
(3.5 moos out of 5) Overview
The Andorran ski area of La Massana is one of the larger ski areas in Andorra and has direct access to 89km of downhill skiing, served by 26 ski lifts. La Massana is directly linked by Ski Lift to the ski areas of Pal-Arinsal. The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season. La Massana has a large vertical rise (3,281ft). As a guide, skiers will generally not be skiing top to bottom all day as the range is too great. Skiers would typically stop a number of times when skiing top to bottom and only the fittest skiers would be able to ski top to bottom without stopping. Note: La Massana is part of the composite ski area La Massana - Pal Arinsal. Note: This page only contains ski area information.
