Mount Cain is the only ski hill on northern Vancouver Island. The hill is operated by a non-profit society known as the Mount Cain Alpine Park Society. Mount Cain Alpine Park has a relatively small vertical rise (1,499ft). As a guide, most skiers will be able to ski top to bottom without stopping, although most will typically stop a few times. Mount Cain Alpine Park has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With only 18 trails, you will probably become familiar with the whole ski area quite quickly. Note: This page only contains ski area information.
