Overview

Situated in the Maurienne valley, between Saint-Michel and Modane, 6 km from the new motorway, the cable car at Orelle ensures an easy and fast access to the ski domain of Val Thorens and the Three Valleys.

Orelle has a very large vertical rise (7,316ft). As a guide, skiers will generally not be skiing top to bottom all day as the range is much too great. Most skiers would not even dream of skiing top to bottom without stopping. Orelle has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With 67 trails, it will take quite some time to explore the entire ski area.
