Overview
Summit is the oldest ski area in the Pacific Northwest and was the first on Mount Hood.
Since
its beginnings in 1927, Summit has continued to provide a safe, family
oriented area that is easy to get to, and best of all, extremely
affordable.
Summit Ski Area has a small vertical rise (302ft). As a guide, most skiers will find it easy to ski top to bottom without stopping, although many, particularly beginners, will typically stop once or twice. Summit Ski Area has mostly beginner and intermediate runs so advanced and expert skiers may become a littled bored if they are feeling like a challenge. With only 6 trails, you will probably become familiar with the whole ski area quite quickly.
