Home to some of the most expansive terrain in Canada, Sun Peaks is where you will find light, dry, "easy-to-ski" snow on long rolling cruisers, spectacular alpine bowls and tree skiing full of powder. Access beginner, intermediate and advanced runs from the top of every chairlift at the resort. Three impressive mountains surround a picturesque ski-through village filled with charming walkways, boutique shopping, fine dining and high quality ski-in/ski-out accommodations. Whether you're traveling as a couple or with the whole family, Sun Peaks is a modern mountain resort. Sun Peaks has a good vertical rise (2,943ft). As a guide, skiers will typically stop several times when skiing top to bottom (most skiers would not be able to ski top to bottom without stopping). Sun Peaks has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With an amazing 122 trails, make sure you get hold of a trail map before you set out.
