Would you support a boycott of Sunshine Village?

Not sure if this has made the news in your area, but recently management at Sunshine terminated several high-level mountain safety employees over an incident involving the owners son, Taylor Scurfield. Basically, ski patrol caught young Mr. Scurfield (and friends) skiing in a closed area, and treated him as they would any poacher. Ski patrol did the right thing. Skiing out of bounds kills people every year...especially this year with all of the avalanche problems out there again. I promise not to ski Sunshine this year anymore. Kicking Horse is way better anyways.

I was at Sunshine Village many years ago and they had a section for people who wanted to bring their lunch, but I don't remember seeing any microwaves available. But as I said, that was quite a while ago, things may have changed...

Apply to both. There's more than enough people applying to these places to fill the jobs so you'll have a lot of competition to get the job in the first place and may not get either.

Skiing/Snowboarding in Sunshine Village or Lake Louise?

I have been to both and I definitely liked Sunshine Village better. But I have only gone to Lake Louise once so I could be misjudging it. Which do you like better and why? Thanks XD Oh and don't say, "well this place is better than both"....if you don't have anything to say about which out of the TWO you like better, than don't answer my question.

I have been to both, and agree that I like Sunshine better, because I know the hill, and I like the different areas - especially off the Continental/ Angel chairs. I always have a good time there. That said, I do really like the length of the runs at Louise, I think there are more long ones than at Sunshine - as I am not the greatest fan of chairlifts, this is a real bonus for me. I don't dislike this hill though, and I hope to get at least one day there this season.

How do you defeat episode 3 of pianta village in super mario sunshine?

I need help with this. The whole episode. How do get through all the goop without the FLUDD? A walkthrough would be nice. Thanx!

Cross the bridge and then turn right. Walk around the map to the back side. Before you get to the hot tub area a guy will be standing next to a hole in the ground. If you talk to him he will say it leads to the mayor. Go below ground and watch out for the yellow spiders and turtles. They are not aggressive and easy to pass. You will have to fall onto a swing and jump across some large mushrooms. Go to the large red mushroom with a little green one on top and use the green bouncy one to jump onto the gates again. Go past some more enemies until you can get to a resurfacing place. When you go to the top there will be some empty spaces in the fire where you can jump. Follow these to a wooden structure and go to the top. Flood is up there and will be full with water. Then do a spin jump or something and use the jet pack to get up to the mayor on the golden mushroom.

Ok for a youth ticket in the normal season it is $54. I am wondering if in november they are cheeper because it is pre-season. Just want to know how much I need, I'll be riding this saturday and sunday.! Thanks a bunch

i know tickets at marmot are 40% off right now but Sunshine....i don't know for sure, but I'm gonna say no...I could be wrong though. What I would do is get a Sunshine-marmot card. Those are 77.99 (with a safeway club card discount, lol) and you get your first, fourth and seventh days free, and a discount on all the other days, so it pays for itself pretty quick. Depends on how often you go i guess.

My disabled daughter recently was granted a wish through the Sunshine Foundation in Florida. We are going to be going to Disney and Universal Studios and will be staying at the Dream Village in Davenport. Has anyone been granted a wish through this Foundation? And if you have, what kind of experiences did you have? Both good and questionable. I have never stayed at the foundation & have had nearly nothing to do with it but I did go to the site you listed in your question. In reading about it & the wonderful organizations who sponsor it,I see that it must be a great organization. Why can't I get into Pianta Village in Super Mario Sunshine? (GC)?

Okay, so I have 82 stars. All of my worlds done except Pianta Village. I have 20 secret shines in Delphino and I have all 100 coin stars. I also have all of my nozzles. The questions is, when I go into episode 1 of Pianta "Chain Completes Unchained" and I run over to the goop my FLUDD comes up and says "Looks like someone is lacking proper training" what can I do? I have tried so many things! Help please!!!

Ohh!! This brings back memories. I was in the same sit-chee-ation as you. You have to spray the little chomplettes until they turn black. Then you have to drag them into the pool area with the tree in the middle of the stream next to the giant purple/lavender plant looking thing. You might have to repeat the spraying if they fire back up. Once you get all three in there and they turn gold, you'll get the star. It took me FOREVER to find out what to do here years ago.

Do I need a park pass when skiing in Banff National Park?

I plan to go skiing at Sunshine Village and Lake Louise this winter. I understand that both resorts are in Banff National Park. Do I need to purchase a daily park pass in addition to a lift ticket?

Yes, you will need a pass for both Sunshine and Lake Louise. Sunshine Village is well within Banff national park so I'm not sure what the other poster is talking about. A couple of things to note : - If you're going with a group of friends and renting a car, look into an annual family pass. It may be cheaper than each of you buying an individual pass for the trip. - If you buy an individual pass, keep your receipt. If you decide to "upgrade" to an annual pass, you can use the receipt as credit towards the pass. - Look on Ebay. You may find an annual family pass for sale. - If you do decide to go with the annual pass, put it on Ebay - unless you decide to return in the summer of course.

In Super Mario Sunshine, how do you get the Chain Chomplets into the center pond?

This is in Pianta Village, episode 1. Now, I KNOW, wash them and pull on them to get them into the pond. But every time I do that, they just go like this: /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/ and zig zag out and get hot again. so how EXACTLY do you do this?

Your supposed to pull their chain and take them to the water. If they try to escape or zigzag away then stop them by pounding that little thing at the end of their chain. Repeat this until you get to the water. To pound the little thing at the end of their chain do that thing where Mario jumps and lands on his butt. Good luck!

Actually, you are supposed to hang onto the gate to make it move. To get onto the gate to make it move, just hang on the bars and then press up at the gate. And you need to press B.

Okay, I'm so close to beating Super Mario Sunshine on the GameCube but in Monte Village I need help with the 8 red coins! I get all 8 coins, but then I can't get to the shine sprite! I've tried everything and just can't get their! Can anyone tell me how to get that shine sprite! It would be such a great help! Thank you!
