Overview

In addition to the overview provided here, please also see our review of The Canyons.

The Canyons is Utah’s largest ski and snowboard resort. The ski area is comprised of eight mountains and receives a healthy 350 inches of snow per year. The Canyons has been extensively upgraded over the past few years which included the development of the Dreamcatcher lift that opened up 200 acres of natural trails and glades.

The Canyons has a good vertical rise (3,189ft). As a guide, skiers will typically stop several times when skiing top to bottom (most skiers would not be able to ski top to bottom without stopping). The Canyons has a good range of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. With an amazing 163 trails, make sure you get hold of a trail map before you set out.
