Thredbo offers skiers and boarders a wide variety of terrain from the beginner area at Friday Flats to wide challenging runs thrown at the world's best skiers at the World Cup in 2002. With the greatest vertical drop in Australia (about 650m), Thredbo is must for any Australian skier or boarder.

Thredbo has an advanced, automated snowmaking system resulting in a dramatic increase in snow coverage.

Boarders will love Thredbo as it offers 4 terrain parks and 2 half pipes (ridercross coarses) each targets to different skill levels.

Thredbo has a quite a good vertical rise (2,205ft). As a guide, skiers will typically stop 3 or 4 times when skiing top to bottom. Thredbo has mostly beginner and intermediate runs so advanced and expert skiers may become a littled bored if they are feeling like a challenge. With 46 trails, most skiers would be happy to spend a week or so exploring the terrain at Thredbo.
