Overview

Wolf Mountain is a family-friendly resort offering what many people consider to be the best learn-to-ski & ride mountain in the Rockies.

The Wolfdeedo Double Chair was designed specifically with beginners in mind and it provides access to one of the best beginner slopes in Utah. The Howling Wolf Double Chair provides access to the top of the mountain and a nice gentle two-mile trial for beginner to intermediate skiers and riders. The Wolf's Lair Terrain Park has been increased in size by 50% for this season and includes 20 features to appeal to beginner through advanced freeriders.

The resort is open for skiing and boarding from late November through early April (depending on conditions).

Wolf Mountain has a relatively small vertical rise (1,001ft). As a guide, most skiers will be able to ski top to bottom without stopping, although most will typically stop a few times. Wolf Mountain has mostly intermediate and advanced runs so beginners may find it a little challenging. With only 16 trails, you will probably become familiar with the whole ski area quite quickly.
