Travelling to Whakapapa
Thredbo has two areas at the base of the mountain from where you can catch the lifts - the main Valley Terminal and Friday Flat. The Valley Terminal is just a few minutes walk from the center of the village. The newer Friday Flat is a little further away from the cener of the village, but has large beginner area and carpark set up for those not staying in Thredbo. Both terminals are serviced by complimentary shuttle busses.

It is quite easy to ski at Perisher even if you are staying at Thredbo. Drive or catch a bus to the ski tube and then take it to Perisher.
